Damn it! Just realised I had posted these on an old update... so here is the latest from last night till today!
ReplyDeleteDropped Shauno up to Blackheath last night with his bike so he could settle in to his very snug hotel room... he's all set and on his way to Dover as we speak... what's the betting he gets stopped at customs with those carefully measured out, self-sealed bags of white powder! we'll miss you lots love Logi and Toni xxx

3.5 hours in and 50 miles done!! it's only 10.30am and there is no-one else to be seen... he's either in the lead or he's taken the wrong route! He got to the lunch station and they weren't even set up... they didn't realise Speedy Gonzalez was going on this trip... still missing you love Toni and Logi xxx

It's 12.09 and he's made it to Dover!! he now has to wait a longer time for the ferry then it took him to ride to Dover! There is no-one in sight... no-one from the Alzheimers Society... just little old Shaun waiting in the port for the next person to arrive... bless him..... he's on fire!! Go Shauno!!
